This summer has been quite busy at Minna-Mosfell.
We have had many guests come to stay with us at our guesthouse, some just over night but others for longer time. We have had opportunity to have wonderful conversations with people from different parts of the world. It really makes our live richer to learn about different cultures and also wonderful to have opportunity to teach people some about our culture.
All hay making is finished, and went well. Our horses will have plenty of good hay this winter.
We have had unusually much rain all summer. It has made our outdoor projects harder and take much longer time than we thought they would do. Some parts of our outdoor project are reaching the end. Exciting!
This weekend the annual town festival „Í túninu heima“ is being held here in Mosfellbær. Every house is decorated in different colors. Our part of the community is supposed to decorate in pink.
I have prepared different decorations for our house but are not going to put them out until tomorrow, due to bad weather forecast tonight and early morning.
Many exciting events will be all weekend long. The fire works at 23 pm Saturday is probably the event the far most people are looking forward to watch. Hopefully the weather will be clear so we can enjoy it thoroughly.
All my best until next.
